Zoom 6000

The Zoom 6000 is Navitar’s workhorse with unbeatable versatility.

Offering a diverse selection of body tubes, accessory optics, motorized configurations and lighting techniques,

this modular zoom lens system has Navitar’s world-renowned optic built in and the “building block design”

can be configured to fit nearly any application.

The parfocal optical system of the Zoom 6000 has a 6.5:1 zoom ratio, a 0.7X to 4.5X zoom range, and total magnification

(depending on lens adapters and attachments used) of 0.08X to 212X. The working distance can be varied from 36 mm (1.5″) to

356 mm (14″). The achievable field of view can vary from 0.02 mm to 125.68 mm.

Body Tubes, Motorized and Ultrazoom motorized

Unique design integrates magnetic Hall-Effect sensors to reference position location.

Users can choose to motorize the zoom and focus axis, or just the zoom.

Available motors: 2 Phase Stepping Motor (Faulhaber), 5 Phase Stepping Motor (Oriental, Vexta), DC Servo with Encoder (Faulhaber)

All HE units can be controlled via USB or RS-232 drivers with Windows and LabView “VI” software.

Adapter Tubes

An adapter tube is a required component for the complete Zoom 6000.

Adapter tubes are available in magnifications range from 0.5X to 5.0X.

Also availabe in compressed “mini” and “short” versions or choose a right angle adapter

and mount to vary the orientation and optical path of the system.

To obtain a non-inverted right angle image, consider using the (NIRA) adapter.

NIRA adapters must be fitted to the Zoom 6000 body tubes in order to maintain path length.

Lens Attachment

Lens attachments thread onto the bottom of the zoom system and can

extend the working distance out to 350 mm or pull it in as close as 35

mm. The extending lenses (.75X, .5X, and .25X) decrease the overall

magnification, and increase the field of view. The shortening lenses (1.5X,

and 2.0X) increase the magnification and decrease the field of view. As the

working distance goes from long to short, the “taking NA” of the system

increases, resulting in an increase in resolving power.

Adapter Plates and Mounts

Adapter plates an be used with microscope stands from Nikon, Olympus, Meiji, Bausch & Lomb and Leica. For applications where vibration is of concern, flat mount options are available for more stability.

Universal clamps allows for more creative and flexible mounting solutions when integrating the zoom system into a machine or in a laboratory environment with limited space.

offer high resolution and unparalleled sensitivity for capturing microscopic

images in the near infrared (NIR) wavelength band of 700-1550nm.

12X Zoom

Navitar’s 12X Zoom is the next generation in video zoom optics. With a numeric aperture of 0.018 – 0.1 and a nominal zoom range of 0.58 – 7X, the 12X is the only single lens system to provide such a high combination of zoom range and resolution. 12X Adapter Tubes

An adapter tube is a required component for the complete 12X Zoom.

Adapter tubes are available in magnifications range from 0.67X to 5.0X.

Also availabe in compressed “mini” and “short” versions or choose a right angle adapter

and mount to vary the orientation and optical path of the system.

To obtain a non-inverted right angle image, consider using the (NIRA) adapter.

NIRA adapters must be fitted to the 12X body tubes in order to maintain path length.

12XLens Attachment

Lens attachments thread onto the bottom of the zoom system and can

extend the working distance out to 350 mm or pull it in as close as 35

mm. The extending lenses (.75X, .5X, and .25X) decrease the overall

magnification, and increase the field of view. The shortening lenses (1.5X,

and 2.0X) increase the magnification and decrease the field of view. As the

working distance goes from long to short, the “taking NA” of the system

increases, resulting in an increase in resolving power.

There are three telecentric adapters available for use with the special 12X

Zoom Lens, Straight (no coax), straight with coax, right angle folded.

Right Angle and Non-Inverting Right Angle attachments are also available

Telecentric 12X Zoom

The 12x Telecentric zoom system allows users to reach a true telecentric

condition to within 0.3 degrees while maintaining constant perspective and

magnification. Ideal for a wide range of applications, including precise

dimensional measurement of objects or pattern recognition.
